AFFECT Reception

January 3, 2020

CSWEP CeMENT mentoring workshop

January 5-6, 2019

The CeMENT mentoring workshops are funded by the American Economic Association to help female junior economists overcome the tenure hurdle. The CeMENT workshop will be held immediately after the January 2020 ASSA meetings in San Diego, CA, January 5-6, 2020.

The second Women in Finance Workshop is hosted by the Center for Advanced Studies on the Foundations of Law and Finance. The workshop is held at the House of Finance in Frankfurt, Germany.

Showcasing Women in Finance–EU

The Luxembourg School of Finance at the University of Luxembourg and AFFECT are jointly organizing the fourth conference on Showcasing Women in Finance. This Showcase is a continuation of the series of Showcase events hosted by the University of Miami, the Stockholm School of Economics, and AFFECT.

The Women Assistant Professors of Finance Conference at Stern

September 27-28, 2019

The conference will take place on September 27-28, 2019 at NYU Stern. We have a great program for this year’s conference! The Friday sessions are open to the public. Saturday is restricted to the untenured women on the program.

Faculty and Staff Sexual Misconduct Conference

Scholars from around the world will come together from June 30th to July 2nd, 2019 in Madison, WI to find solutions against faculty and staff misconduct. Different parties will come together to exchange ideas and knowledge and to try to find solutions. For more information, please click here

Call for Papers by the FRB, Bank of England and ECB

The Federal Reserve Board, the Bank of England and the European Central Bank are hosting a conference at the Bank of England on May 14th, 2018. The topic will be “Gender and Career Progression”. The call for Papers is open until November 24th, 2017. More information available here.
